Siloën picked up a new camera in TO and we did some test shots. After messing with the settings, we arrived at a good result, I think.

Winter is grim and beautiful
The call for submissions went out for Animation With Love : Home Sweet Home. This is the second Centre for Art Tapes animation program curated by Siloën Daley and Dylan Edwards. and it continues the emphasis on animated works that are heartfelt and imbued with a sense of personal investment. This year's take on the theme connects with the concept of 'home' in all the forms that takes. Once the submissions are in we'll start our intense process of review and selection. We had a great time last year and the showing was a well-attended success. Lots of happy faces leaving the theatre, which is what we want to see.
Work is also progressing on our collaboration, the animated short 'Onions'. We have set up our studio and started assembling our sets and puppets and putting up our storyboard-wall. We will be documenting our progress on this project as well as updating on the status of 'Animation with Love' in the months to come.
